Cr 500 wrist pin bearing gap?

Recommended Posts

Still zero replies? Really? I know this is not the most stimulating subject like posting pictures of your bike or opening debates about what suspension kits to buy, but I really appreciate knowledgable advice. Anyway, I have a stock piston that is lightly used, and there is a gap between the wrist pin bearing and piston, allowing the piston to slide back and forth on the wrist pin

with the cylinder off. The wrist pin bearing slides in an out of the rod end also. My question is, is this normal? Does having the cylinder installed prevent the wrist pin bearing from sliding out of position when the head is installed? I sure appreciate any replies from anyone who is familier with this. Thank you!
