Starter not working

So in the winter I thought it was just a temp thing but now it's warm and still dosent work. I charge my battery and still no. When I push the button to start there is a click noise and it shakes coming from what I think is called the starer magnet. Does any one know what's wrong. Also it was working for like a day then stopped.

Still sounds like the battery. Try a new one.

When those batteries go they're gone.

The battery is new last year, well that's what the guy said before I got it from him last year

I have a jumper box so I could jump start my bike when the battery went dead. I tried recharging my battery and nothing, it was dead.

Had to buy a new one.

Would I be able to try jumper cables from a car battery?
