Raptor Petcock Fuel Tube

Recommended Posts

I've got a Raptor petcock ready to install, but I don't like the idea of losing most of my reserve. Someone said that you can pull the brass tube out of the petcock body with a pair of pliers and replace it with the one from the original petcock. The tube is in the body TIGHT and I am afraid I'll damage it if I pull and wiggle it enough to get it out. Is there a trick to this?

Try using a heat gun.

I have not heard of anyone doing this,  but yes,  your normal range gets farther and reserve is about 10 miles,  so find a station quick, or youll be doing the walk of shame.
