suspension work?

Recommended Posts

I have a 2013 yz 125 and i have 63 hours on it i bought it new and it still has the factory settings on the suspension. i need new springs ( i am 120 lbs )

i was told to get a .40 for the front and a 4.4 for the rear. i am very confident working on the bike, i am planning on installing the new springs myself what tools do i need to change the fork oil, the fork seals (Both of which are leaking) and the springs i already have the fork cap wrench what else do i need.

thanks any help appreciated.

You should only need the fork cap tools (2 pieces), fork seal driver, and normal hand tools (wrenches, flat blade screw driver, etc.). The owners manual has a good explanation of this, so follow it. Write down your clicker settings before disassembly then back off all adjusters to full soft. There are plenty of videos online of how to rebuild forks. Watch a couple of them if you don't quite understand the manual.
