1994 kawasaki kdx gear case oil

Recommended Posts

This is probably a dumb question. What oil should I run in my crankcase on my kdx?

Pick one...lots of options. I prefer ATF in my 2ts. Many like Rotella. I prefer ATF...did I mention. I prefer...

10w30/40 wet clutch compatible "motorcycle oil" or ATF type F

Your bike is a few years older than mine, the only thing I'd be worried about is ATF contains detergents that can break up old seals

I'm running straight 40 wt Amsoil in my 94. Works better with my grabby clutch than 10w40.

Whatever you run change it often.

Holly crap, I recently bought a quart of MTL-Fluid and it only cost me $9.56.

That's ridiculous. I've been using Type F ATF for over twenty years, it's currently less than $5 for a quart.

You'll be fine with any 10W-30 engine oil, 80W gear oil, or Type F ATF.
