Hard clutch pull on my cr125

Recommended Posts

I recently bought a 1991 cr125. And I discovered the clutch basket and hub were broken, so I bought a used one to put in there, and it looked exactly the same as the last one. Once I got it all back together, I went to go pull in the clutch and it was very hard to pull in what is causing this?

Cable in good shape ? Proper number of disc installed?

Yeah I made sure it had the right amount of discs and I just put a brand new clutch cable on it.

Pull the clutch and stator cover off and see how it operates . Make sure the clutch lever in the stator cover is correct and pushrods working properly if thats all good i wouldn't worry too much if it's all working. It may just have heavy springs installed in it . Hope you get it worked out.
