I will post later on my trailer and what I have done so far. Was curious if anyone has screwed into the side door if so what size screws did you use. My side door seems like a soft material and I didnt want the screw to pull through. I just want to hang a soft shoe rack holder on it for can and other small things.

Put some wood slat on it 1st!  Basically - attach a nailer board to the metal parts of your trailer walls or door with metal screws and then attach your hooks etc to the nailer - a nice clean 1 x 4 or 1 x 6 board etc!
