What are the best off-road 2stroke tires?

Maxxis desert I.T. They are really good tires and last a long time.

I'm looking for intermediate terrain tires, mud, roots, rocks, dirt,

but I also ride on hard packed trails. I need something with grip, and something that will last

I've considered Pirelli mt16, scorpion, and Dunlop (geomax) mx 31(32) 51(52). What would be the best choice?

+1. Pirelli MT43 rear, most anything else on the front. I still run Dunlop 755 up front, have a stack in the garage.

I prefer the 4 stroke version of the mx51 or newer 52 or the s12 xc.  Depends on conditions as well.

id probably go with dunlop  mx 51 or maybe the mx 52 i don't know much about mx 52 thou

Pirelli XCMS get my vote. Great tyres. Grip well and offer decent grip

The Dunlops wear like iron, 300ish miles on my stock MX51's and they haven't hardly lost the edge , but don't grip well at all IMO, seems to be a general consensus up here in the Northwest. I have no confidence in the front Dunlop that came stock on my bike either but they last forever. I've ran the Pirelli Scorpions and loved them.
