Time for new valves?

Recommended Posts

I am throwing in a new piston to freshen up my 08 and the valves are in good clearence. The INs are at the 1.65 shim and the EXs are at the 2.55 shim. I noticed that the intakes took a little "burned" as does the piston dome. (Didnt attemt to clean) Should i go ahead and replace them or ride as-is? Only want to replace if  needed.

they look fine to me. Put some gas through the inside of the valves and put the head right side up as in the way you put on the cylinder. Keep it there for like 10 min or so and check to see if any gas has gone through the seats of your valves. If not, your good to go buddy.
