countershaft seal leak KTM

Recommended Posts

hi Guys! so I bought my ktm 125 sx half a year ago. Last week it started leaking oil, so I went to a local dealer and bought that complete repair kit. I put everything in but it kept on leaking. As a poor student I didn't want to buy the complete kit again (it was like 20 euros, 28 USD) so i took my sprocket off again and tried to tab the shaft seal ring in a little further. Now my problem is that its way to deep in, is this a bad? Also my sprocket is a bit loose, i can move it a little bit, it's still a OEM sprocket. What should i do about this, shall i buy a thicker o-ring or a thicker lock ring?

I know you can get gets with 3 size o rings... I had to use the largest one in my 13 300 to stop the leaking.... I also put black silicone on the c clip to keep it from moving... the kit was from Enduro Engineering. .
