2004 cr125 idle screw

Recommended Posts

I got a 04 cr125 awhile back and the threads are screwd up on the idle screw. You can bairly get it screwd in far enough to see it from the inside of the carb. I noticed that rocky mountain sells a little kit with a drill bit, thread tap, and a idle screw, but it says its for a banshee. Can i get something similar for my bike somewhere? Im not one hundred percent sure that the threads on the carb are messed up, mabe a new idle screw would fix it...????

If it were me, and the threads on the carb were good, and I had to replace the idle or airscrew, I would buy the Easy screws. I have them installed on my KTM.....the cr and kx will soon get them as well. It's SO awesome to be able to reach down while coasting along and make just a little tweak ;)

I bought mine from Jeff Slavens at

I'm not sure if he offers them for your bike, but if not then they are on Ebay as well:
