Countershaft spline differences?

Recommended Posts

I went to install my new sprockets and the front sprocket I received has 20 splines. My 2008 yz250 has a 13 spline countershaft. I googled the part number(Primary Drive 3R4-13) but got no clear answers. What does this sprocket fit? Does the 125 have a 20 spline countershaft?

Thanks

No it doesn't that is a wrong part why putting a 13t on the 250 for? 14T is stock i ordered a 13t once by accident for my 250 and it made 1st thru 3rd almost useless went through the gear too fast.

I do a lot of tight enduro-type stuff so I like the 13tooth there. It is a pain everywhere else though, but I make do.

So a 125 has a 13 spline shaft like the 250? Can someone look at their 125 for me?

Thanks

250F has a lot more splines than the 2 stroke. Not shure of the exact number though.

I don't know the exact number of splines the 125 has but I know it has more than the 250. I didn't realize until I went to put one on my 125 and it didn't fit. So now I have a 13T for a 250 that I'll never use.
