06 rear brake wont bleed-help!

Recommended Posts

So I go to bleed the brakes on this bike and I loosen the bleeder nipple, remove master cyl cap, pour in some fresh fluid and get pumping. Nothing. Alright, so I take out the banjo bolt the caliper and pump the pedal. Free flow of fluid. Squirts out nice. So I reinstall that, and put a bit more fluid in, and put the master cyl cap back on. I hold it down with my thumb and pump more, still nothing.

Any idea why this is happening? The fluid level in the master cyl doesnt change, either. And I pumped about 100 times.

?!?!

Get a rebuild kit for the master cylinder.

Lets say I dont have time to do this. Next best thing?

I forgot to mention I can hear gurgling coming from the mast cyl when I push the brake.

Get a vacuum bleeder first and try that, get them or auto zone from harbour fright , best and only way to bleed breakers . You can just clean it up real good and check the parts first before you get a kit. If they are not dry and cracked etc then just get a new bleed screw and vacuum bleeder
