2012 sff preload

Recommended Posts

Couple quick questions,

1. What's the size of the preload adjuster? Manual doesn't say

2. What should fork sag be? I hear about 2 inches? I weigh 190 and to get 2 inches I have to back off preload almost all the way. Sound normal?

When you say preload you mean " rider sag" correct?

Forks seem a little soft at 51 mm, at 40mm they feel pretty dam good for me.

Did you re-spring for 190lbs????? Yes 51mm( or 2inches) is the recommended setting from factory conection and also MXA magazine during some of there testing. You will never get that thou unless its sprung correctly. For my 120lb son i had to soften it up all the way and still couldnt get anywhere near that setting till we changed out the pressure spring also to a lighter wieght. So you may need a heavier one of those
