Keihin FCR throttle stop carb question.

Recommended Posts

Hey,  New to TT.  Have a 2005 DRZ 400E with a Keihin FCR throttle valve 39mm carb.  Can anyone tell me how to set the throttle stop adjuster?  Can't remember how many turns out when removed.  Clymer manual doesn't say how many turns.  Appreciate any help...

it's one of those deals where you just turn the idle adjustment knob/screw until the throttle valve(butterfly) just starts to open a small amount.once the motor is started you adjust the idle speed from there.

I am asking about the throttle stop adjuster screw which is part of the throttle lever assembly.  I think it controls the throttle valve opening.
