So if you have followed my build kx250f supermoto build thread, you would know how much time and work has gone into this bike, bit to mention money...lol

I'm no doubt going to keep the bike for the rest of the year, but when spring time comes around, I'm pretty positive I'm going to have a nice shiny new ktm 500exc, I just can't resist the temptation.

An 07 kx250f are on craigslist in vt/nh for around 2500, that ones that arnt beat to hell that is. What do you guys think I could get for this bike when fall/winter rolls around?

If I had to guess, I would say I have around 5-6k into the bike, and I know I'm not going to get nearly that much back

The only catch is is only has a "transferable registration"

Vt doesn't title bikes under 300cc but I can just sign the registration over to someone and they can register it themselves, not sure how it would work if they are out of state though

I loveeeee the bike, but I know in a few months I'm going to be craving more power and A wide ratio tranny, torn between the wr450 and the 500exc. Life has such hard decisions haha

I'd give you 3500 right now it's worth way more than that. You could get 4k in my opinion with the pics and title showing all the work it doesn't hold all the value but to the right buyer all that will mean the world she's a beauty

Def boosts my confidence hah I'm glad I won't lose as much as I thought when I plan to let her go, I guess it's just about finding the right buyer.

I also have a yz125 but she will be gone soon, just collecting dust..

Just wondering how come you did a 250 not a 450? I always assumed 450 was the way to go with super moto builds

Oh it is, but in Vermont, you don't need a title to register any bike under 300cc and I figured my kx250f would make a very unique street legal motard. I thought about selling it and buying a 450, but If I was going to do that I would just have to go out and buy a new wr450 or ktm 500exc.

I guess I just thought it would be really cool to have a street legal kx250f haha you don't see that very often, and there's a good reason for that
