kdx rear fender

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know what year motocross rear fender will fit or be close to fitting on a 1990 kdx200? I just bought a CA street legalized kdx200. It is currently plated but no lights. I looked at the D/S kits and think a motocross rear fender would look much nicer with the aftermarket taillight. Thanks. P.S. Anyone have a service manual upload?IMG_2198_zps065ce326.jpg As you can see the PO bolted the across where the rear light used to be.

KX500 isn't a MX style rear fender really. The KX125 or KX250 MX fender can be made to fit with some modding,

here is a tutorial putting a KX250 fender on a KX500. Same process as the KX200

Well since the KX500 is/was a MX bike Id say its a MX fender. That was how they looked back then. The 88-89 125 and 250 shared the same plastics as the 500. 89-94 KDx200s shared the same side panels as the before mentioned bikes and had similar body lines to the KX. You can mod a later year KX fender to fit but none seem to match the lines quite right in my opinion.
