16 tooth front sprocket

there should be no issues with getting a 16t front sprocket on there should there? i have a 14/47 setup now and want to get a different front for when i do more street than dirt. thanks!

Might rub/chafe the sprocket cover and wear the swingarm chain slider (by the swingarm pivot) depending on brand and outside tooth diameter.  Otherwise, no issues, but keep an eye out on the chain slider.

Driven sprockets will fit the DRZ.  Other mfgrs are a tad big.

My case guard cleared the chain with a 16T Driven sprocket, others had to grind the guard for clearance.  Manufacturing tolerances?

I had to make room for it to fit. It hits the guard as well, so i took the guard off.

It was tuff getting the 16 on mine. I had one on a bike when I bought it and changed the other bike to a 16 too. It was tuff, but I knew it would fit cuz of the other bike and info heree on TT. I trimmed the front swingarm guard with a dremel to get it to finally fit.
