Title for 2006 wr250f

Do you have a Bill of Sale.

That's probably all you need. Just did that in CA and had no problems registering (after 6-7mo even!), but then again every state is different. Then Texas is "special".

So jealous of all of you guys in the states who have such an easy time getting a title!! My bike never came with one and they told me unless you find the last person who had the title and bring it in signed, there is no way to get a title. Period.

The DMV doorway is literally the gates to hell.

Man no luck, I called the dmv today and the lady told me that j have to find the original owner that is on the registry to go and and file for a lost title. Then he could sign it over to me. Looks like I will be getting no title for my wr. damn!

Maybe you could take it to a state that's easy, like Colorado, and sell it to somebody cooperative.  They would get it titled and sell it back to you.  I plated a WR450 a few months ago.  I had a bill of sale, and the certificate of origin which they told me I didn't need.  The VIN gets checked to see if it was ever reported stolen.
