Yellow DRZ Scheme?

Recommended Posts

Just looking for some suggestions on what to do with my 05 DRZ400S

As of now it is 100% stock...

Any recommended graphics kits? (I prefer a yellow/Black scheme)

I was also thinking of putting a KLX250 Headlight on... it just looks newer.

A Newer RMZ Front Fender

Also a Rear fender eliminator kit! (that ugly stock black thing at the back has to go!)

I'm open to suggestions, my bike is currently yellow with the stock graphics.

I like mine :) it ended up a tri-color of Yellow/Black/White but I was copying Chookens DRZ at the time, lol. There are a LOT of nice looking yellow DRZ in here so I am sure someone else will post up some more pics

The 02+ RM250 front fender bolts right on and looks much better than stock.

KTM fork guards really helped clean up the looks

Black wheels helped the looks a ton but its pure bling and not cheap, after I sold the stock wheels it wasn't too expensive.

I got the graphics from Forest at Wheeling cycle, he was out of them at the time but told me he could get some more if I was patient. I was and he did, Forest kicks butt like that.

When I freshened up my bike (powder coated frame) I couldn't find any graphics kits that I liked so I designed a set myself.

I called up FasterUSA and told them I wanted to order up some black wheels with Excel rims, RAD Eagle hubs and stainless spokes that could be used as rebar in concrete :-)

After I removed and sold the oem wheels the net cost of the new wheels was reasonable. ..about $250

Does it save much weight? I do like the look.

How would adding forks guards save weight...??...

By removing the rubber bellows they're replacing? :lightbulb:

Plastic fork guards would weigh more then the rubber accordians.

I have not weighed them,  but i fealt both in me hands and could tell the plastic guards weigh more.

I see dirt wheels around here on CL go for around $400 for a set.

So nobody knows what the weight of either is?
