Fuel Mileage on 450rr

The 2014 looks like it only comes with a 2.25 gallon tank, what kind of range will this thing have on single track.

It depends on the terrain and how gentle you are with the throttle, but anywhere from 80km (sand, mud) to 100km (hard-pack, asphalt) per 8l tank.

2013 350rr stock, Exploring and light road riding I get 73 miles to reserve and 10-12 more before dry.

The 2014 450rr or 450rs both have 2 gallon tanks. I know all to well, LOL!

 

I had to install the IMS 3.1 gallon tank the second day of ownership on my 2014 450rs.

 

You can get over 40mpg easy if just exploring singletrack trails, or 35mpg +/-  if on the gas hard (this is with stock jetting and pipe, modified gearing)

I prefer the white/clear IMS tank for my Beta, I've owned a black IMS tank on my last bike, yet I like being able to see my remaining fuel supply instantly these days. Just preference I guess...
