my first 450 for woods. info inside and advice needed.

Recommended Posts

first i want to thank all who helped me with the 250. i gave it to my boy and he is putting it to good use. i recently got an 09 kx450f and its going to be my new woods bike. gotta love fuel inj. lol. anyway, someone has already been in to the suspension. it doesnt have RT gold valves. they look maybe stock. i am wanting to use these and just mess with the shim stack if possible. funds are a little tight at the moment. i would really like for this bike to soak up all the woods junk here in east ky. rocks, roots and hills. i took it on a short ride and it seemed pretty stiff in the front. here is the rider info and current stacks in the forks. i am also going to attempt the mid valve for the first time and maybe rebound.

rider- 215 lbs. with no gear. 6'3 tall. mid to front of pack C-rider (depending on the day lol)

springs are for me.
