rm 125 mods

Race Ported 03 RM 125 engine by PR2 in Pennsylvania. Pro-Circuit pipe with Shorty silencer. Other than that everything else is stock. Bit over 35HP.Bikeis an MPS racing RMZ AF. Totally stock.

Riders first race in 2 years, He's unfit and over weight (86 kilo no gear) and only found out he was racing the Saturday night before the race. First saw the bike and put half a tank through the bike on the Saturday. Never seen the track, got one sighting lap. Needed another 2 teeth on the rear sprocket. Also broke his neck in his last race meet so had to deal with that being in the back of his mind.

You'll see he starts to find his rhythm in the 2nd lap and starts passing the 4T's. Some 450's. Even when riding the wrong lines for a 125cc. He normally rides a YZ 250 2T.

Was just a shake down for the bike and rider. We're actually looking at the 2015 season. Getting an RM 167cc built ATM.

Once the suspension has been setup on the bike I'll be upgrading the brakes. Watch in the corners. Stock brakes ATM. Upgraded brakes on my RM125 are a lot stronger with a lot more feel. You can make up a lot of ground and gain a lot of ground in the corners by having really good brakes and putting them to good use.

Got a much better start in the 2nd heat but binned it and twisted the front end plus buckled the front wheel ? . BTW, because of the gearing he had to start in 1st :lame: .
