Porting vs vortex x10 ignition

I read that the vortex chip makes a big differance but is porting still beter?

Vs porting I'm not sure. But over standard its a really good mod, noticeably quicker and cheaper than a pipe. When it really comes into its own though is when combined with a Yoshi Dual system (on a 13/14 anyway). The two work perfectly together and transform the engine

I love my vortex, I tend to leave it on one map now, though I can change it easy if needs be. The bike just runs better with it than the stock ecu, even re-mapped. I do have a full rocket twin system too, and some throttle body mods, and an exp unit. The only thing I will do when the time comes is a high comp piston. The tracks I ride are primarily twist and squirt, nothing too open, I find the extra couple of hundred rpms handy for holding a gear that bit longer. I run 13-50 gearing to utilise 3rd for 90% of our tracks.
