East coast sea level jetting

Recommended Posts

I just went from a four stroke Yamaha to the Husqvarna te300 . After my first ride I realized I am going to have to get use to the throttle response . I was told, and read, about lugging the 300. But after coming out of a turn and starting to climb a moderate grade I needed to downshift from 3rd to 2nd and then to 1st. So I am Not sure what's wrong. Considering that I was told I should be able to come out of turns in third and lug it up hills

My bike is completely stock.

I Don't have lots of money for upgrades. Was told that the stock bike should do me fine. I am new to the sport and do all trail riding.

Just looking for some input or maybe some links to read up on. I did come across something mentioning clip positioning. I cannot find where I read that. It mentioned changing or dropping the clip 1 or 2 spaces from the stock spacing.
