Question About the Handlebar mount Bushings on these RMZ's

Recommended Posts

I have come to the conclusion that I do not like the way my handlebars can move around . I have triple checked torque specs on the handlebar mounts but they still have play .

I was wondering if others have replaced those rubber bushings with aluminum ones or polyurethane ones and if so ,how well do they work compared to the OEM rubber ones ?

I have a bar mount top bracket that is one piece. Bars don't move. I think that would solve your issue. I had a minor get off and the forks twisted in the triple clamps but bars stayed put.

I had a Honda without the one piece bracket and it was annoying how they moved so I know what you mean!

I replaced those rubber things with aluminium cones on every bike they came on...The mounting ist way more solid and won't need to be straightened after every tip over
