Head mod and jetting.

I run an SX CDI and head on my 2014 Berg 250

You won't necessarily have to change your jetting.

The SX parts will let it tolerate slightly richer jetting in my experience. the increase in compression usually likes a little more fuel off the bottom, either a tweak of the airscrew, a larger pilot or even the next needle diameter richer. But if you are running stock jetting which IMO is a bit on the rich side then I'd leave it as is and see how it goes.

The 2014 250 comes with a 40 pilot so shouldn't need a larger size, same with the 168 main.

what is your current jetting?

I'm running a 38 pilot and the rest stock. But it is a touch on the rich side. Of the needles that come with it what order are they richest to lean.

I ride a combination of slow single track and open flowing trails. Is it still manageable with the sx parts?
