Naming/nicknameing a bike

Recommended Posts

My girlfriend manages to give all my vehicles names and she commits to them. Eventually I end up referring them by said nicknames.

I had a Saturn that was green and had a "Buzz Lightyear" look-a-like scent thing. Buzz just stuck to the car.

If it were my choice, my vehicles would be called whatever color they are followed by "machine." My first street bike was "Red Machine" for a while.

More like HO!

Cause with his attitude, that cr is the only thing he will be wrapping his legs around!

It is a 1 off you know!

My XR600R had a nickname.

My friend had an old F250 that burned more oil than gas* that had "Built Ford Tough" hand painted on the tailgate.  Everybody called his truck "Old Tough."  Kept a gallon of oil behind the headlight and replaced it every trip.

When my 600 started burning and leaking oil, I kept a quart of it wedged behind my headlight, and we called it "Little Tough"

No nicknames for anything else though.

*It was a 7.3L diesel, so it didn't burn any gas.  But it did burn a lot of oil.
