Kickstarter Having Problems?

Hi guys I have a '94 Honda xr200. Just redid the clutch basket. I am having issues starting my bike. It ran prior to my changing of the gears. The kick starter almost goes down too easy, however every couple kicks it kicks itself back up. Any suggestions?
