Recommended Posts

Do you guys adjust tire pressure for muddy tracks? Up/down?

The tire you run makes the most difference in mud.

The Michelin S12 is a harder compound rubber and lugs are wider spaced for self cleaning... they grip like nobody's business in mud.

The same characteristics that make them good for mud ,make them terrable for anything else.  Thats why people compromise.

The mud only tires will shred the lugs on dry hardpack so you have to change them out if you don't want to tear them up.

+1 on the MX32 front. I recently installed it on my YZ250 2T and liked it so much I ordered another one for my WR. I ride only woods, mostly single track and had been looking for a front tire that would work well with the Michelin X-11 Competition Radial Trials tire I've been running for the last year and a half on the YZ. It turns out to be a great combo, and works fantastic in the mud and sand.
