Aluminum or steel sprocket for CRF450R?

Recommended Posts

I have to replace both sprockets on my bike and I don't know if the aluminum is worth it? It's a bit more expensive but that's not the problem, I just want to know if it will hold up with a steel one?

Aluminum is lighter and will wear more quickly, if your not worried about the weight savings go with steel, last much longer than aluminum

Supersprox makes a steel sprocket that looks good too. 39.95 it lasts a lot longer than aluminum. I had one on my 450 for quite some time. It lasted a lot longer than Renthals I have ran.
