Check bolt rm 125

Recommended Posts

I got a 2003 rm 125. I want to replace the transmission oil but there is no window to check the level. I was told there was a check bolt and that it should look different than the rest of the bolts but I can't locate it.

You don't really need to find the site glass if that's what you mean.. Just take out the drain bolt at the bottom of the engine and let the oil drain out. After that, add the exact amount of oil that it calls for; it will say how much it takes either by the plug you put the oil into or behind the kick starter. A 125 takes 700ml I believe.

It takes 750ml. I have a quart for it but nothing to convert it into ml

your quart of oil should have ml readings on it, it should be 3/4th of the bottle.
