oil drain

How many of you drain the forward small drain bolt when you change the oil?I did it tonight and hardly any oil came out and I don't see the threads lasting very long in that area.While tightening it in it felt like it was going to strip,i'm thinking of leaving it alone from here on out.

Put the bolt back in and don't touch it again. The first time I removed mine it brought every case thread with it. I ended up having to use a Thread Sert and red Locktite to fix the mistake and plan on never taking it out again.

I always do. Just snug it/dont overdo it tightening and youre fine.

I have never taken mine out and never will, ever.

I use to but I felt like I was going to strip it so I quit using it at all.

I do but use a torque wrench to install

I change my oil often and not enough comes out of the small drain to worry about. I quit removing that drain for that reason.
