Source for mini halogen signal bulbs?

Recommended Posts

So I installed this brake light/ turn signal kit on friday. I made one trip into town to get a key made for the steer lock. No luck. Then one of the signal bulbs burned out. I looked at several auto stores and could only find similar incandescent bulbs with much lower wattage(4.3) and they are very dim in comparison.

Anybody know where to get these? No number on them other than 12v.23w.

Apparently ProCycle offers them for sale. They just aren't listed in the same area of their website where some other bulbs are listed and where I found my kit...?? http://www.procycle.us/dskits/dskit.htm#kit-268027

Also any moto shop that is a Western Power Sports or Tucker Rocky dealer can get them for you. In case anyone else needs to know.

I use to have mini turn signals with those exact little lights,  they are a bitch to remove and install,  you can have to press em down and turn,  i had one break right at the tip of me finger...   be careful,

Or just go to Radio shack,  thats the only place they have them in stock,  they have the dual filament ones too.

Thanks Ron, Radio Shack! I don't know why I didn't think of that. I contacted ProCycle and Mike was kind enough to mail a replacement seeing how I just installed them. I ended up ordering extras thru them anyway.

Yes they are a little difficult to replace. I ended up sliding the whole housing off of the rubber stalk to make things easier.

Edit: Ha! I cut into your quote.
