Adapting the feedback O2 system to 2014 KTM 500 XCW

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know what it takes to adapt the O2 sensor feedback fuel injection system on the 2014 500 EXC Sixx Days to the 2014 KTM 500 XCW? Thanks!

The lstock CDI system does not have such a capability

You would have to contact Bazazz and have them make you a new CDI,  custom

The Kooliaid must have made you really sick! You know that we can just buy the harnes, o2 and pcm. We were wondering if anyone had done it yet. And it's BAJAJ by the way.......  How do you like those Husqktm's????   Going the way of GM. Too much of the same the thing! No one is more thorough than I am.........Keep drinking that Koolaid, you're doing good!  ;)

I have never heard of or seen an O2 sensor system that talks DIRECTLY to the KTM ECU, nor do I believe it exists.

Not even BDS has heard of such a thing.

They use an O2 bung, sensor, guage and a KTM master tuning tool plugged into the ECU.

PCM means pulse code modulation. It's a method of computational language storage.

What do you think it means....

...and it is Bazazz.... http://www.bazzaz.net/

It's 2014 and KTM still does not offer a way to properly tune their own 500's, without buying the $1999 tool, and buying your own O2 and bung.... or buying a new Power Commander piggy back module, with (1) fixed map added.

The standard tuning tool cannot get the stock 15:1 AF ratio rich enough to make a difference....
