husky consumption

Recommended Posts

hi guys. I recently bought my first proper dirt bike which is a 02 husky cr250. I am extremely happy with everything exept for one thing, comsumption. I am assuming its rich jetting fault but i cant find good instruccions on how to set up the mikuni tmx. And its a big issue because i have to ride to the track which is in the middle of an enduro paradise.... so its far...

Any experience on this issue?

If you jet it properly you should improve your mileage. I get 60 miles out of a stock tank on my 13 WR300 and still don't hit reserve.

ditto on the Lectron these carbs get amazing fuel mileage

No exaggerations. That carb sips gas. My first use with it was a wide open riding area and I have ann ims 3.4 tank on it. Did 59 miles and came in and gas was at 2 gallon mark(I had previously marked my gas tank at one gallon intervals) I was like...no that cant be right. But it was. I was a fast riding area though. But still....

That doesn't look like a 2002 cr if it is the previous owner must of changed the tank and plastics

yes, its a 2002 cr with 2006 tank seat and plastics, or it can be tc´s....it looks way better that way in my opinion
