ok so I own a 03 cr 250 and I'm setting it up for woods.

My issue is my exhaust is still drooling pretty good, the top end power feels very flat but it feels great on the low end and I'm aware that the flywheel weight will rob your top end but it also felt the same before I put it on. I don't get very good mpg either.

My manual says to run a 400 main, with the jet needle at the 2nd clip position. I'm riding at 1000 to 2500ft above sea level and anywhere from 80 to 115 degrees. I've played with the jetting a little bit but does anybody have advice? Idk what my upgrades will do to my jetting

Which needle are you using, red or blue? I bought my 03 with a JD kit in it, it did OK but I tuned it better without using their needle. I got a S8 nozzle and a -74 needle running a 410 main and 32.5 pilot.
