250X Street Legal in California

Mine is plated in California!!!!! 2004 CRF 250X

Tires, front and rear are Kenda's 3.25/21 "57P"-- 510/18 "73P"--Impact Rims-- 54 tooth rear sprocket, Tusk Baja style kit ($170) The lights are all LED and are very adequate! Pictures show about 75% of real brightness--Trail Tech Speedo with Head temp and H20 readout--time and ODO ($100). I have a a list of preferred oils and mixtures for the top end and bottom end if you want that info.  email me at jburnes@att.net for those details. It is technical and worth the time if you are real concerned about the reasons CRF's are not considered dual sport by design (not streetable from showroom).  I believe they are adequate for the street if treated right!

I have a AZ plated X and the only mod was a 48tooth rear sprocket to reduce engine rpm.  Radiator capacity is more than adequate for street riding and the hp is fun. I would consider an X for Supermoto.
