Yumbo 200cc won't start after stalling

Recommended Posts

My buddy's yumbo 200 runs fine, when you shut it off it usually starts 1st-2nd kick. But when you stall the bike, it takes like 5-10 minutes of kicking/waiting to get it started again.

hi, maybe check your float bowl float settings, they are allowing too much gas to get into carb bowl and that gas overflows, causing  your problem.  check the floats first, and if you can not see anything wrong, still adjust them just a little bit in the downward position, thus shutting off gas flow to the bowl sooner.   if you go too far, it is possible on wide open throttle for extended period of time, like 15 seconds will empty the carb bowl, and your bike should start sputtering if that is the case.   Then set it the other way.  Your repair manual should have your carb specs, if not, maybe look up.. your brand and trouble shooting section.  also make sure your floats swing freely, and do not make any contact with inside of carb bowl, AT ALL.

good luck
