Mysterious rattle

So I decided to take the quiet core out of my exhaust on the drz and I can hear a slight "rattle" sound mid rpm range. Put the quiet core in and it's gone. Pull it out again and it does it again. Either I'm going crazy or am just not realizing something. Any one got insight on this?

didn't mention that it's a brand new rs2 exhaust. Long night lol.

Little update. After a month it's still doing it. Tried rubber mounting my yoshimura fender eliminator with no success. I've narrowed it down to either a broken rivet in the exhaust or maybe my license plate still because it "shAkes" badly while riding
