GET C1 wireless hour meter question

Recommended Posts

I bought the GET C1 wireless hour meter and installed it near the neck of the frame on my 2014 KX250F (where I see just about everyone install them) but it isn't reading anything. From the demo I saw on their site as soon as the bike starts up the display will come on counting the hours. I was at the track today and ever so often I would pull off and look at the hour meter and most of the time it wasn't on but a couple of times it would flash on real quick (but reading 0.0 hours) then turn right back off. It also doesn't come on when the bike is just sitting at idle and I know it should be in order to be accurate. When I press the button to cycle through total hours and partial hours it works as it should but it just reads 0.0 for both.

I wanted to see if anyone on here has had a similar experience. I'm trying to determine if it's not picking up a strong enough vibration, if I've got a faulty unit or if there's something I'm doing incorrectly.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.
