Hinson clutches worth the money?

Hinson or GYTR if you can. Nothing bad about stock but they are better options...

Barnett and EBC are both good too....

dat 1k doe.. I would get one but just how long do they last?

Honda OEM clutches are junk.. they don't last long if you race mx, and feather/ride the clutch at all.

 

I have used Hinson clutches for years to include the Hinson 6-spring and Hinson BTL slipper clutch.. They are absolutely bullet proof.! They cost more than the OEM clutches, but last much longer. 

 

You can't wear them out.

You shouldn't need the "whole" thing unless you have a seriously worn clutch. In that case, I would just buy a Rekluse if the basket is still good.

You asked if their worth it and the short answer is yes.

my basket is worn considerably, plates are warping and few are burnt

Newbie rider, but the Hinson clutch setup that came in my CRF still running good! The more expereienced riders seem to love it over the oem when they try it!
