2008 rmz250 vs 2008 crf250r

Recommended Posts

I'm trading my old 125 for a 250 and looking to move up to the bigger bikes and there's 2 on craigslist that are willing to trade bikes, 1 is an 08 crf250r with a new stage 2 hotcam, valves shimmed, and a fairly new piston, it's also got a few other bits and pieces like asv lever, new seat cover, power flow plastic kit, works skid plate and radiator braces, and new tires but he said the bike acts up in 3rd gear and feels like the clutch slips when putting the power on it. The 2nd bike is a stock 08 rmz250 with a newly rebuilt motor, which bike should I go with?

RMZ also, plus if it's stock you won't have to deal with any problems if you take care of it correctly.

this, To much done to the Crf for my liking. Plus If the valves have already been shimmed im sure it won't be to long before they need be replaced all together.
