Spark plug question

My bike is a 2010 250 sx. The spark plug the manual says to use is a br8ecm. Can I substitute a cheaper plug? These things are running $15 a piece and they're not easy to find where I live. Heard rumor a br8es works but does it matter if the threaded part of the plug is longer?

BR8ES works perfect and is like $3

The threaded part is the same length.  The difference is that the white insulator part of the BR8ECM is shorter so there is more clearance between it and the frame. It is, therefore, easier to install.

BR8ECM the inside of the threaded part is actually chamfered. Supposed to help with detonation I was told.

O'Reilly auto parts sells them for around $7.50. They dont stock them in the store but can get them in a day or two.

Thanks guys I'm gonna go ahead and start using the br8es plugs. No o'reileys auto parts here (Canadian eh) and the place that does order them over charges

I quit using the br8ecm the first time i started to buy one , hell with that !!!!! i run the br8es
