Seized

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,

Was riding tapped out in 5th om my 2009 YZ250 Fand the bike started to lose power and the back wheel locked and remains locked in gear. The kickstart is also too solid to kick. Any ideas what's happened?

Thanks

Rich

She seized...

Now you have to figure out which end seized, why it seized and how much it's going to cost to rebuild.

I'm going to gamble and put $5 down on oil starvation. Any takers?

it really is a coin toss on which of the 2 it is.

the real question is:  how much oil was in the bike when it siezed?  was it at the proper level or was it way low?

My 2001 WR250F seized up on me a while back and it turned out the rod seized to the crank.
