extreme leak out of the head gasket on shifter side

after a few laps around the track my bike started leaking at the top gasket on shifter side rode again yesterday it has gotten worse.

Why would you keep riding it if it has an issue? That's asking for more issues.

Head gasket or valve cover?  If it is the head gasket, don't run it, replace it.  Of course, you could always try torquing down the bolts that hold the head on to spec and in sequence to see if that solves the problem . . . if it is the head gasket.

Sounds like valve cover gasket, thick rubber one.

 

Just remove valve cover and put silicon sealer around the bottom part of the gasket, top part of gasket will not leak as it goes into the valve cover.
