Kx250f overflowing coolant
For water to get into the motor through the impeller shaft BOTH seals would have to be bad, chances of that happening are very slim. Also you'd get coolant and oil coming from the weep hole under the pump. If water is getting in the oil you've got a bad gasket somewhere. head gasket, base gasket.
I have great compression so it wouldn't be a head gasket, how can I tell if it is the base gasket?
it's kind of pointless which gasket seeing how you need to pull the head. You'll see then. At that point I would think about a pistonI have great compression so it wouldn't be a head gasket, how can I tell if it is the base gasket?
Yuppppp
Sounds like head gasket leak
What year of bike???? The 04-05 use to over heat pretty easy.

Hi guys, I was riding at the track yesterday and after about 2 hours of riding I noticed coolant coming out of the overflow tube, and only the overflow tube. I let the bike cool down, dumped some water in there, took another lap, and there was nothing above the fins in the radiator when I checked again. My oil is fairly milky, but it has always been that way. I was thinking it was a seal around the impeller shaft. Am I correct or is it a head gasket? Thanks!
