What 250 should I get

Hey guys I was wondering what bike I should get I have a cr85r and im 5/5 110 im always pinning it six gear on that bike I like if you guys can give me some Ideas of 250 I can get keep with the race bikes thx

Don't get a 250 4 stroke, get a 125 2 stroke. 250F's are high maintenance and love to blow up if you ride them hard. If you see much rev limiter at all, they're a ticking time bomb. Get a 125, it'll be similar to what you have but with quite a bit more power and be cheaper to buy, fix and maintain not to mention lighter and handle better and have the same power.

No the two you just mention are 250 2 strokes, i think people thought you where talking about 250 four strokes which are comparable to 125's. Don't get a 250 2 stroke , get a 125 2 stroke , any brand is good YZ,KX,RM,CR,SX

It's too big of a step, if you go in size order you'll progress smoother and faster than riding a bike that rips your arms off. A cr85 isn't the most powerful 85 as it is so its an even bigger gap.

You know I think im ok with ripping my arms off I did start as a 9 year old on a cr85r couldn't even touch to ground and it wasn't that bad well

A 250 two stroke is a bit too much of a gap for coming off a 85. If you think you can handle it, then go for it. The worst that can happen is you have to re-sell it after the first ride.

I made that same stupid mistake of going from my cr85 to a cr250... Stupidest thing I've ever done. Just go to a 125 and don't get a big head about the 250. You'll hate it I guarentee it... Just save your time and money and go to a 125 of any brand until you put atleast 2 years of hard riding on it before moving to a 250 2 stroke. But as ktm jake said, the 4 strokes are just too much maintenance. 125 is your best bet for sure!
