can anyone running either the boyesen or hinson clutch covers tell me if they hold more oil for the KLX application? Have emailed both companys and they are not responding at all.

Hinson got back to me and they confirm that it doesn't hold any extra oil.

going to go ahead and order a clutch cover but can't decide between the hinson billet one and the boyesen cast one,is the hinson one worth it being presumably stronger for an extra $60 or so over the boyesen one?  would I be hard pressed to break the boyesen one? and save myself some money,I haven't broken the stock one but the type of riding I plan to do now will be at more risk

Personally I would save the money. If the cover was exposed to constant stress then I would go billet. But for the intended purpose cast will do just fine. It's still more durable than the magnesium OEM cover

Ended up fitting the Hinson and also got a tusk oil filter cover whilst I was at it,anyone run one of those and had any problems with oil flow at all?
