Wheel fitment

Recommended Posts

I think I have this answered, but wanted some feedback...

My bike is a 2005 YZ250. I bought a set of wheels from a 2006 WR450 as I wanted an 18 inch rear. The front is an issue. Because of the spedometer setup on the WR, there is no seal or spacer, just a bearing and drive cog. The axle is the same part number, as are aftermarket bearing kits (Pivot Works, Tusk).

So do I just need to get a bearing kit with sealed bearings and use my YZ spacers?

I think you are on the right track. Smart move checking part numbers.

Well my local shop has the bearing kit in stock. So either way one of these hubs will have new bearings.
